The Ministry for Justice and Home Affairs

Following the April 2003 general elections, justice, home affairs and local government were incorporated in the portfolio of the Ministry for Justice and Home Affairs.

The Minister responsible for Justice and Home Affairs is the Hon Dr Tonio Borg LL.D., MP who is also the Deputy Prime Minister. Minister Tonio Borg has been responsible for Home Affairs since 1995 and Leader of the House responsible for Parliamentary Affairs in 2004.
